Thank you for shopping with The Fruitist! We are committed to delivering fresh, high-quality produce directly to your doorstep with care and efficiency.


Shipping Coverage

Currently, we only ship within the state of California. We do not offer shipping to other states or international destinations at this time. As we continue to grow, we may expand our shipping coverage in the future.

Processing & Delivery Times

  • Orders are processed for shipment on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.
  • Orders will be shipped on the day they are processed.
  • Delivery times are based on destination. Orders are generally delivered within 1-2 days after being processed. 
  • Orders placed before 12PM will be processed the same day.
  • Orders placed after the cutoff time on Mondays and Tuesdays will be processed the next business day. Orders placed after the cutoff time Wednesdays through Sunday will be processed on Monday of the following week. 

Shipping Methods & Packaging

We take special care to ensure that your produce arrives fresh and in excellent condition.

  • All orders are packed using high-quality, food-safe materials to maintain freshness during transit.
  • Insulated packaging and cooling elements may be used when necessary, depending on weather conditions and the nature of the produce.
  • We work with reliable carriers to ensure timely and safe delivery.

Shipping Fees

  • Standard shipping rates apply based on order size and delivery location within California.
  • Any applicable shipping fees will be displayed at checkout before payment is finalized.


Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor your delivery status.

Delivery Issues & Lost Packages

If your package is delayed or marked as delivered but not received:

  • Please check with neighbors or your building management first.
  • If the package is still missing after 24 hours, contact our customer support team at help@thefruitist.com.
  • We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Damaged or Spoiled Items

We take every precaution to pack and protect your order, but if your produce arrives damaged or compromised:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo of the damaged item(s).
  • We will review your claim and offer an appropriate resolution, such as a replacement, refund, or store credit.

Changes & Cancellations

  • Orders cannot be modified or canceled once they have been processed for shipment.
  • If you need to make changes to an order before it has been processed, please contact us immediately at help@thefruitist.com.
